If you find the current voice in Apple Maps isn’t cutting it, here’s how to change it on your phone.
How to change the voice of Apple Maps.
Apple Maps uses the same voice as Siri elsewhere on your phone. It is inseparable. You will have to change Siri’s sound to affect Maps.
Follow these steps:
Open your phone’s settings app.
Search and select Siri.
You can tap Siri Voice.
Pick a accent/dialect under the name of Variety. Don’t worry, this changes how Siri sounds. It is not your phone’s system language.
Pick a Voice for different versions of a variety.
Once you download the new voice, it should kick in everywhere.
